Never Too Early For Bastille Day

Actually everyday could be Bastille Day for us.

Bastille Day is July 15th. Like Cinco de Mayo it is celebrated by many countries.

Really, it is the French National Day. So it is a day of reverence and thanks for the French. But for us, it is another excuse to enjoy the great cuisine of France.

Can’t get to France? No worries. Storm the gates of a great French restaurant near you.

They’re all over, as we explain here.

But wait there is more. How about Orsay, a gem in Jacksonville, Florida?

Oh, you’re going to Cleveland? Drop in to L’Albatros

Maybe you’re in Myrtle Beach enjoying the Red Neck Riviera but you’d like some Provence with that Bourdeaux? Try The Brentwood.

Let’s say you are enjoying the craps tables on the Las Vegas Strip and you are craving some escargot. Head to Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris Hotel Casino.

Maybe you are visiting the Winter White House in West Palm Beach, well you need to steal away to Pistache.

Of course, you can always try the French wine favorite, a Pouilly Fuisse. In this episode, however, it is more of an homage to Inspector Clouseau as you hear John mangle French.

If you have been any of these places or sipped these wines, give us your review. Or maybe you have some choices of your own.
