Teriyaki Bleu Burgers

Makes 6 burgers
Ingredients:
2 pounds Ground Beef
½ cup Teriyaki Sauce or Yoshida Original Gourmet Sauce
3 cups grated or crumbled Blue Cheese
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Pepper
1 Teaspoon Granulated Garlic
Hamburger Buns, buttered or sprayed with olive oil
Directions:
Mix together ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic, teriyaki sauce and 2 cups of blue cheese.
Let sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Take out of fridge for 30 minutes prior to grilling.
Form 6 patties from the mixture.
Grill at medium heat for about 5 minutes on the first side, then flip and grill for another 3 minutes on the second side. This gives you medium-rare. Grill longer, if medium is desired.
Next, add about 1-ounce of the remaining blue cheese on top of each burger and close the lid. Continue grilling for another 2 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Take burgers off the grill and let sit for about 5 minutes to rest.
While burgers are resting, grill/toast your hamburger buns on the grill for about 30 seconds, depending on the heat of your grill.
Serve burgers on toasted with condiments of your choice, including sautéed mushrooms, onions, lettuce and tomato.
Enjoy!
