Brown Sugar Apricot Simple Syrup

Ingredients:
3 cups dark brown sugar
3 cups water
12-oz dried apricots, roughly chopped
Directions:
Add Dark Brown sugar to water and bring to a boil.
Stir constantly until sugar is dissolved.
Add the chopped dried apricots.
Let sit for a half hour then pour into a glass container.
Refrigerate or store at room temperature.
