Quick Morning Protein Fix

Don’t like to wake up and cook a full breakfast?

We don’t either.

But you need morning protein.

Don’t worry. We have a tasty solution here.

But first here’s why. In their fabulous book, 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos Jordan Peterson and Norman Doidge say morning protein is a must. Protein jump starts your day so that you are active, clear thinking, and motivated to do what you need to do.

We agree.

But some of us need a cup of Joe before we attempt to heat up the stove and crack some eggs. Or we have to deal with work, workouts, and family.

You could always hard-boil a dozen eggs and have them cooled in the fridge for an easy reach. But if eggs aren't your thing...

Here’s what we do.

It is a Protein Smoothie we created quite simply – thanks to Costco.

And it is delicious.

Here it is.

  • Get organic frozen cherries. So good and they act like flavor and ice for the smoothie

  • Mix in blender with Whey Protein Powder. We use chocolate because cherries and chocolate are the bomb, but vanilla is good too.

  • Add water.

  • Blend

It is quick way to launch your energy.
