The Versatile Trader Joe's Jalapeno Limeade

This is an incredible find. Our friend Chris Hardy gets credit for introducing us.

Our Undercover Jetsetter curiosity took over, as you will see here. But we are looking for your input on some other creations.

First, let's explain how great and versatile the Jalapeno Limeade is. The mild to medium jalapeño back taste kick doesn't burn your tongue. So you get a combo of spice, sweet, and citrus.

If you have shied away from jalapeno, then this is a great way to discover the uniqueness of jalapeno without the discomfort of a tingling, swollen tongue and furnace face.

So here's how we experimented with it.

The first -- and most obvious -- is mixing this with tequila and a squeeze of fresh orange. Choose your proportions. We tried half and half and got the burn of the tequila mixing with the sweet, sour, and spice.

Second, try a mai tai jalapeno style. Create a traditional mai tai with dark, gold, and spiced rums, along with Amaretto and Triple Sec, then add fruit juices with pineapple being the dominant. Now add the Trader Joe's Jalapeno Limeade so it is about 1/4 of the drink..

The Jalapeno Limeade cuts the sweetness of a mai tai while giving it a little more depth.

We also need name this. Any suggestions using some Mexican and Hawaiian?

Third, try the jalapeño lime aid in your homemade guacamole. Wow. Be careful putting too much in so you don't water down the guac. And you can use it to refresh some left over guac like you would squeezing a lime in it.

So there are ours. Give us yours. We would love to try them too.
