New Wine Arrived: La Buena Espera Sauvignon Blanc from Spain

This is one of our latest wine club selections.

La Buena Espera Sauvignon Blanc 2016 has a cool greenish yellow tint.

Normally we're not big fans of Spanish whites but this one has more umph than most.

The nose is wild while the palate is subtle fruit; grapefruit, mango, and a touch of honey.

But like a Savignon Blanc, it is also crisp.

The tasting notes say it goes great with shellfish and Asian cuisine. We had it with a crisp salad on a summer evening. Perfect. Also near perfection was La Buena with Chinese food, namely General Tsao's Chicken.

Although we always recommend Time and Oak Whiskey Sticks with different wines, we think on this Sauv Blanc (and most) you can save the oak sticks for something that needs a bump of oak instead.

Our wine club delivers unique choices from around the world every month. This is stuff you cannot get in the grocery store. If you'd like to join us, check out this link.

And come enjoy wine with us.
